Korpela Dam
Finland’s second oldest operating hydropower plant
Explore Finland’s second oldest operating hydropower plant in the village of Yli-Kannus. The plant was built between 1919 and 1921. Korpela Dam is located about 8 km from Kannus city center.
On-site, you can also swim, grill sausages at the lean-tos, and admire Finland’s longest log floating channel.
