Pakettiratkaisu

The unprecedented “Pakettiratkaisu” is set at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, a time when it was common practice to take fields out of production and reduce dairy farming by selling cattle for slaughter.

On a traditional farm, the outgoing master of the house, Taneli, and his daughter Pirkko experience dark moments when the heir, Pauli, brings his wife into the household. The new owners take matters into their own hands and reshape the farm’s future as they see fit.

Over the course of this two-hour play, audiences will be immersed in the spirit and mindset of a small village in Central Ostrobothnia through comedy and music.
