Skijoring
If you’re looking for a new hobby for you and your four-legged best friend, look no further!
Skijoring is an excellent sport for those who enjoy speed, skiing, and having fun with their furry friends.
Our furry friends are more than welcome to roam around the Kitinkangas Ski Stadium. The Kuntorata (5 km) and Poleenharju trail (12 km) are both open for skijoring on Tuesdays from 4 PM to 10 PM and on Saturdays from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Skijoring etiquette
- A dog must have an appropriate pulling harness.
- If a dog has an emergency in the middle of skijoring pick up the waste off the track.
- Make sure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date.
- Do not let your dog run loose on the trail or in the parking lot.
- Be considerate of other people on the trail.
- When passing another skijorer, announce your intention to pass well in advance.
